I really cannot install MapPoint on a RDP server, because all of my users would not be licensed to use it. *Note: We use Office 2010įurther complexing the issue is that most of our environment uses Remote Desktop. I think the feature that MapPoint integrating with Excel was a big plus for him. I assumed Google Earth, but, I don't think my boss cares for it.
So, my question for Spiceheads is this : Would you just buy 5 more Retail box copies, or would you move on to a similar product? What product is similar to it? I have never used MapPoint 2013. I checked with my re-seller, CDW, and they said they cannot sell me licenses for discontinued MS products.
Now, he wants up to five more users to use it. I did find a re-seller that sold me a Retail box of it so he could use it. We got a new boss, and he is familiar with, and likes MS MapPoint 2013, a product that MS has discontinued.
